well, this one is really interesting. pfau natural with 50% linen is a special limited edition from birdiesroom (www.birdiesroom.com) and was not available from didymos. birdiesroom did have another special edition in the past – red cotton birds – and here they go again. the wrap is nearly identical with pfau ecru 50% linen, but has instead of the darker ecru linen threads now natty white linen threads. therefor it is lighter and more silvery in appearance than the ecru pfau.
i hope to have my natty pfau soon and can’t wait to geek some more about the differences between natty, ecru and the rest of the peacock family.
today i rescued the poor little birds from customs and here is the first geekery on a size 6 (yes, i ordered a sz 6 and the box also says sz 6):

weight: 1120 g
-> 200.72 g/m
so this wrap either runs looooong, or i have gotten a size 7 instead of a size 6. the wrap is thicker than pfau ecru (184.62 g/m) and more comparable with violet pfau.
the colour is really different from ecru pfau. whereas ecru has a more golden appearence, natty pfau is just pure white, like a winter pfau with a silvery touch.
